Making jewelry and taking pictures is an expressive outlet for me. My real job/career is books. My mother and i own a small used bookstore in Suwanee GA. We've been open for over six years now, and I can honestly say we've been blessed.

    I have a B.A. in studio art from Agnes Scott College. (Small women's college right outside of Atlanta).  I'm actually quite proud of my education at ASC. It's a small college which means lots of small classes and never having to pick a focus. So i've dabbled in just about everything: photography, printmaking, book making, jewelry, sculpture, painting, website design and so on.

    I've been in a few shows in and around Atlanta and Athens (once i even had some photography in a show in Italy) and I've got some work in a collection or two.

    I'm bad at math and i can't spell worth a lick. In fact I have a learning disability. Makes running a book store very interesting -- trust me.

    I've got three dogs, a very sweet geek of a husband, friends who I depend on to keep me sane and an amazing family. I'm short, playful, frank and addicted to spell check.
